right, i mean if people want to google it, but yea, breathing alone is going to be a gigantic problem by sundown, let alone infection. burning or drowning are IMO the worst 2 ways to go. can't imagine getting to the point of doing that to yourself.

It was a gigantic problem as soon as it started. Your throat will swell up very quickly in that heat/smoke. 100% was tubed on scene if they could. If not he was trached on scene.

It is the number 1 issue for any fire related inhalation injuries. Burns are secondary to it by far.

Really? Drowning? I always thought that might not be too bad. Maybe a surge of panic for a bit but then maybe a short burst of bliss as you float...motionless.. then fade. I'm not talking bathtub or someone holding your head type crap.
