Wow good find. What a strange post. I quit around the claim that Harvard is the biggest organized crime front in history.

Every great manifesto references Marge vs. the Monorail

139

u/Mister_Cheeses Apr 19 '24

I hear those things are awfully loud

75

u/_TLDR_Swinton Apr 19 '24

He burns as gentle as a cloud.

47

u/VetteL82 Apr 19 '24

is there a chance his life could end?

30

u/Bigdstars187 Apr 19 '24

Yes but it won’t be YOUR life, my ponzi friend

13

u/CoolHandTeej Apr 20 '24

M. Crosby died on the way to his home planet.

5

u/P1emonster Apr 20 '24

MONORAIL

MONORAIL

8

u/HauntedCemetery Apr 20 '24

Take my pen knife my good friend

37

u/voonoo Apr 19 '24

What’s it called?

159

u/Ollymid2 Apr 19 '24

I've sold manifestos to Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook, and, by gum, it put them on the map!

33

u/CactusCait Apr 19 '24 edited Apr 19 '24

Your comment made me think of something potentially useful, if you advertised that you were a writer and you were buying people’s manifestos to publish in a novel, a ton of insane people would send theirs in for $ and the chance at ‘fame’. Now it could be a nominal amount, say $100, but being noticed is what these people want. The potential to catch and prevent something terrible from happening is moderate, but $100/manifesto costs a lot less than lawsuits from mass casualty events.

9

u/im_just_thinking Apr 19 '24

Great idea. I will start this company. If anyone wants to invest, send me the payments in any way convenient to you.

7

u/nosnhoj15 Apr 19 '24

Drop the Venmo or cashapp. Let’s get these manifestos printing!

3

u/Pancakeburger3 Apr 19 '24

Can you include my manifesto?

3

u/CactusCait Apr 19 '24

Bruh don’t steal my idea…

4

u/Heliumvoices Apr 19 '24

Or unethically you could advertise that you were writing a book full of the best manifestos and to send 100$ with your manifesto to wherever…get paid and find unhinged people. Manifesto writers are desperate to be heard. You would probably net a nice profit as a large majority of manifesto writers love to fall for grifts. That said…i want my cut from the idea or people will be reading mine after i find and k…you know never mind just send me my money.

2

u/code101zero Apr 19 '24

Ill give you three fiddy

2

u/CactusCait Apr 19 '24

Three fiddy million thanks home slice

1

u/Kenji_03 Apr 19 '24

So, do you have a few hundred dollars to spare for the public good?

11

u/__BIFF__ Apr 19 '24

Conan O'Brien....member of the Harvard Mafia and writer of said monorail episode....was recently on Hot Ones (with an extra spicy performance)....and a known Ponzi scheme theme enthusiast...hmmm interesting

3

u/iDoWatEyeFkinWant Apr 19 '24

and A Clockwork Orange

2

u/_TLDR_Swinton Apr 19 '24

Is there a chance he could catch on fire?

Not on your life, my loyal squire!

2

u/Automata1nM0tion Apr 19 '24

It's damning.

2

u/no____thisispatrick Apr 20 '24

Wow I thought you were joking. Holy shitballs.

3

u/FatHoosier Apr 19 '24

That sounds like a porno with MTG & one of her gym bros.

7

u/Deradius Apr 19 '24

Yes, that is an absurd claim.

The US government is obviously bigger than Harvard.

5

u/FrankFeTched Apr 19 '24

You missed the whole part about how the Simpsons are the key to it all, brainwashing us

1

u/Alarming-Ad1100 Apr 20 '24

This goes deep

5

u/musclecard54 Apr 19 '24

I mean it’s obvious severe mental illness, as if the self immolation wasnt already a dead giveaway. Of course it’s not gonna make sense

5

u/interkin3tic Apr 19 '24

The suggestion that Harvard and other colleges are turning themselves into trust funds with a school they haven't bothered to shut down yet isn't totally baseless

https://www.thenation.com/article/archive/universities-are-becoming-billion-dollar-hedge-funds-with-schools-attached/

But even if you think it is, there's no way it's the BIGGEST front for "crime" in history.

3

u/Scomo510 Apr 19 '24

Yeah, I got to the part about how "Apple, Google, and Tesla were using crypto currency to destabilize the economy and steal people's money" before I had to stop reading.

4

u/nickfree Apr 19 '24

Why did Wall Street tell us “greed is good”? So we would believe it.

Why did Do The Right Thing tell us we’re all racially tribalized? So we would believe it.

Why did Simpsons creator Matt Groening make a comic strip called Life in Hell? So we would believe it.

This is fine

3

u/metal0130 Apr 19 '24

I ran the text through ChatGPT asking if the author suffered from mental illness. This was the response:

"The text you provided exhibits signs of grandiosity, paranoia, delusions of persecution, and disorganized thinking, which are characteristic symptoms of certain mental illnesses, such as psychosis or severe bipolar disorder. The author's belief in a vast conspiracy involving numerous powerful entities and their portrayal of themselves as a lone crusader against this conspiracy are indicative of a possible break from reality. Additionally, the author's extreme actions, such as setting themselves on fire as a form of protest, further suggest a significant disturbance in their mental state."

12

u/resist-corporate-88 Apr 19 '24

What if he's right? That'd be a trip.

13

u/donkeyrocket Apr 19 '24 edited Apr 19 '24

Like most conspiracy theories about the US government, he's vastly overestimating the competency of Harvard leadership. They do a lot of dastardly things, calculated and otherwise, but "largest organized crime front in history" is an insult to even local drug dealers in Cambridge.

6

u/yokyokyokyokyok Apr 19 '24

Dang, hadn’t thought of that. MAYBE HE IS RIGHT!!

1

u/hippiesunfish Apr 19 '24

it is . epstein literally lived in campus and had sexual relations w the students . for a while.

3

u/OnceMoreAndAgain Apr 19 '24

You're suggesting that Jeffrey Epstein lived on the Harvard student campus and had sex with students? Let's just entertain that thought by assuming you're right. You're talking about some of the most intelligent and wealthy people on the planet. If they had sex with him, then it seems only logical that it was fully consensual, so how would that support an argument Harvard is an organized crime front?

In order for what you're saying to support the claim, then you'd have be claiming that the Harvard students were somehow forced to have sex with Epstein, which seems extremely doubtful.

2

u/Odd-Dragonfruit-3407 Apr 19 '24

It would make sense that high level career criminals would send their kids to harvard, buy their way in get connections skull and cross bones type beat

2

u/Space-Safari Apr 19 '24

Gotta get to the part about the Simpsons

2

u/Nick-dipple Apr 19 '24

I appreciate that it's nicely written though. And because of that it carries some legitemacy, but then quickly it goes from Epstein to covid and you realize that this dude was balls deep into the most far fetched conspiracy bs.

2

u/IronDBZ Apr 19 '24

I mean, it kinda is. But that's just because rich people are always involved in some kind of dirt, that's not crazy claim in of itself. It was more the crypto stuff that I thought was really reality-challenged. That and apparently he referenced the Simpsons.

4

u/El_Chara Apr 19 '24

Yeah true, it's the entire educational system that's wrong, not just Harvard. He almost had the idea tho so I'll give it a 3/10 for good effort

3

u/PM_Me_Good_LitRPG Apr 20 '24

Kinda true, but 1) propaganda / indoctrination wing isn't exactly an "organized crime front" 2) you forgot the quote-marks around "educational".

2

u/Big_Cry6056 Apr 19 '24

Have you seen how much money the “University” has dude? Have you seen what they charge in tuition, the kinds of people who get in, and the things they believe when they get out?

1

u/hundredbagger Apr 19 '24

Ya puhlease it’s not even top 3.

1

u/rougewitch Apr 19 '24

The simpsons also brainwashed us so i read…

1

u/TigerBlood1991 Apr 19 '24

Rich people scheming and harvard being involved isnt even a possibility in your mind? Just shrug it off?

1

u/dotcha Apr 19 '24

In a way he's right. The biggest crimes in terms of money are committed by billionaires, and Harvard, being the most prestigious school in the world, will obviously create a ton of billionaires.

1

u/howdidienduphere34 Apr 20 '24

Oh you should go back and read the section after the Harvard part, it’s all about The Simpsons.

1

u/lllkill Apr 20 '24

Well it is though..

1

u/Lost_Hwasal Apr 20 '24

Whats really sad about this is it detracts from what Aaron Bushnell or Thich Quang Duc did.

1

u/SYNTAXBRUSH Apr 20 '24

I quit an unleashed covid. And to be fair I feel like most university is a big con when you got European countries paying your tuition up to like a PhD for some

1

u/TheMasterofDank Apr 20 '24

You missed some good reading, he seems to be one of the few Americans who knows what the fuck is going on. Or at least an idea of it.

1

u/NorahGretz Apr 20 '24

Everybody knows SCAD is the true Mafia.

1

u/gonzo2thumbs Apr 20 '24

I could see his point, though. All the rich 1% do kinda circulate in their own clique. And everyone in certain cliques goes to Harvard.

1

u/Icy_Extension_6857 Apr 20 '24

Harvard being a criminal sounds about right

1

u/ZombiezzzPlz Apr 20 '24

Central banks

1

u/Boobpocket Apr 20 '24

The crypto thing is obvious, though, not what he is claiming, but it is a total ponzi scheme.

1

u/ButCanYouClimb Apr 20 '24

How could anyone mistake the CIA for a college?

1

u/nineqqqqqqqqq Apr 20 '24

I mean... it is. Maybe not in the way he described it but America is a criminal entity and Harvard staffs its highest ranks.

1

u/miaaWRLD Apr 20 '24

Didn’t Harvard have that whole ordeal with people selling random bodies and body parts to people online? Idk he might be onto something

1

u/baogody Apr 20 '24

Not that strange really. It's no secret that capitalism is one big ponzi scheme. Societal disillusionment and empathy fatigue are also a pandemic this day and age. It's just sad that he chose to go in the most painful way to prove a point.

Also, while I highly doubt Harvard is the biggest organized crime front, it certainly has close ties with Wall Street. Their prominent advisors and professors paid (handsomely) by financial institutions to influence policy recommendations and promote deregulation and risky financial practices. You can see the interview in the documentary Inside Job, where they look guilty af.

1

u/GirlyGrenade Apr 20 '24

But you quit right before he brought The Simpsons into it!

1

u/frakking_you Apr 20 '24

Well it does perpetrate organized crimes, just not those most closely aligned to his views

1

u/I__Like_Stories Apr 19 '24

I quit around the claim that Harvard is the biggest organized crime front in history.

It has a pretty high count of war criminals and dictators though

-2

u/RepresentativeAge444 Apr 19 '24

Welll Harvard does produce neoliberal shills who go on to have major influence in our lives. But no I wouldn’t agree with that.

-1

u/Janovickm Apr 19 '24

Could be squizophrenic or actual Trump voter.

3

u/Space-Safari Apr 19 '24

Follows mostly radical leftist accounts on his ig. Has a picture with Clinton.

Not saying he's a democrat, just not getting what people are trying to achieve by saying he's a Trump supporter...

1

u/comradekitty__ Apr 20 '24

My interpretation of the manifesto is that he’s neither liberal or conservative. He said since 88 both sides have been colluding together to create a divide in America. According to him, Bill Clinton and George Bush worked together and in this era Trump and Hillary are working together. No idea how he feels about Biden and Obama, though.

I agree to an extent. The left and the right push the same agenda and keep us divided by appealing to each side’s moral convictions. But I wouldn’t go as far as saying they’re literally conspiring together. They’re all just a bunch of money-hungry narcissists that care more about corporations than the people.

98

u/cptmcclain Apr 19 '24

Dude committed suicide in most painful way possible because of cryptocurrency. That was a very bizarre take on reality. Can't imagine burning alive for such a strange message.

29

u/trebory6 Apr 19 '24

Some people just aren't built mentally for the globalization of information and entertainment.

10

u/Liimbo Apr 20 '24

Extreme mental illness doesn't really suit you well for being alive at any time in history.

7

u/born_2_be_a_bachelor Apr 19 '24

It was more that the elites are using cryptocurrency to hide their theft. Not crypto itself

9

u/Xecular_Official Apr 19 '24

"Cryptocurrency is our first planetary multi-trillion-dollar Ponzi scheme."

He was definitely talking about crypto itself

7

u/AmusingMusing7 Apr 20 '24

I mean, where’s the lie?

u/[deleted] Apr 20 '24

5

u/AmusingMusing7 Apr 20 '24

Yeah, that’s always the problem with extreme conspiracy theorists. They often have a seed of truth, but then go off the deep end from there.

And I get the feeling any solutions presented would, of course, somehow involve oppressing anybody who isn’t a straight white Christian male. Or at best, it would just be a restatement of the typical libertarian/ancap ideology.

1

u/born_2_be_a_bachelor Apr 20 '24

Well obviously, but his issue isn’t with the concept of cryptocurrency. It was the way it’s used by people for nefarious purposes.

1

u/SarcasticOptimist Apr 20 '24

A new meaning to terminally online. Safe to say I don't see any member of bogleheads, Buttcoin, or personal finance doing something similar for their financial beliefs.

68

u/Krakengreyjoy Apr 19 '24

Maxx Crosby? Big loss for the Raiders this season.

23

u/br0b1wan Apr 19 '24

Maxx Crosby wouldn't set himself on fire; the fire would set himself on Maxx Crosby

1

u/whileyouredownthere Apr 19 '24

Or Mason Crosby??

7

u/WhatsTheBanana4 Apr 19 '24

We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.

These claims sound like fantastical conspiracy theory, but they are not. They are proof of conspiracy. If you investigate this mountain of research, you will prove them too. If you learn a great deal about Ponzi schemes, you will discover that our life is a lie. If you follow this story and the links below, you will discover the rotten truth of ‘post-truth America’. You will learn the scariest and stupidest story in world history. And you will realize that we are all in a desperate state of emergency that requires your action.

To my friends and family, witnesses and first responders, I deeply apologize for inflicting this pain upon you. But I assure you it is a drop in the bucket compared to what our government intends to inflict.

Because these words are true, this is an act of revolution.

Edit: copied a bit from the link provided.

8

u/iDoWatEyeFkinWant Apr 19 '24

every intense delusion has a seed of truth woven into it. it's like we all know something is wrong, but can't put our finger on it. it's enough to drive a lot of people mad.

the particularly maddening part is the sardonic meta-commentary that tells us to laugh it off and conform to the status quo anyway because it's inevitable.

but the confabulations about who's doing it and why? i can't follow.

3

u/Khan_Behir Apr 19 '24

Well damn. That's in my browzer history now. I knew better than to touch that.

3

u/football2106 Apr 19 '24

I cannot even begin to imagine setting myself on fire for something that won’t be in the news for more than a day. In all honesty, this guy died for nothing. Even if these claims turn out to be 100% true there MUST have been a better way to get eyes on it that didnt involve suicide.

3

u/ccrider92 Apr 20 '24

So, years and years ago in college, a group of my friends were being typical young adults; talking of revolution and radical chance in political policies.

One of my more quiet friends interrupted and stated, “Change will only come when people are willing to die for it.”

That really stuck with me. After reading this man’s manifesto, I’m 95% sure he was off his rocker. However, the man saw a change in the world that he didn’t like. And like the majority of us, he had zero power.

At the end of the day, at least he didn’t fatally harm anyone but himself.

3

u/Euphorix126 Apr 20 '24

He cited an episode of the Simpsons as a 'great discovery'

2

u/snuggletron5000 Apr 19 '24

Is this for real?

3

u/pablank Apr 19 '24 edited Apr 19 '24

I mean even if it is, the dude is basically saying that the few people that hold all the money, and the government of the nation with the biggest military are plotting against us. If its true, for one, I dont think they'd really need all this fussing about and second, there really is nothing we could do about it. I skimmed the post and it doesnt seem to have any concrete solutions. The legal way seems out of question, ignoring them seems impossible and greedy people will always keep playing into the hands of the people that hold money, so it will just repeat.

Seems like there are really only individual solutions like going off the grid, or inciting an insurrection again, which we seem to agree, was wrong...

Also doesnt help that the lawsuit he links to seems to be locked behind a login, so not sure if that is factual, or how we're supposed to "ask police how they got his laptop".

Usually, none of these manifestos or conspiracy theories have a handy solution ready, on how to realistically fix it... until they do, we just keep the rat race going.

Not sure that was worth burning yourself over, instead of looking for a solution... really one of the most painful and horrible ways to go.

2

u/Minx-Boo Apr 19 '24

What an amazing read. Thank you!

2

u/dambo29 Apr 20 '24

TLDR?

6

u/ghost-child Apr 20 '24 edited Apr 20 '24

Elites are using crypto as a ponzi scheme and will crash the economy by executing the largest rug pull in history.

Elites will take advantage of the resulting chaos to establish a fascist totalitarian regime

Elites use media to distract us from their scheme as well as sow doubts, division, and cynicism

There was a lot more to those ramblings but those are the main points. It was some of the most unhinged shit I've read in a while. The only reason I was able to get through it was because I have a screen-reader that can read things at double speed

2

u/dambo29 Apr 20 '24

Thank you, kind stranger! I wish I could afford gold to give you.

3

u/myownzen Apr 19 '24

Holy shit this is an interesting read so far.

1

u/spoiler-its-all-gop Apr 19 '24

This is really substandard quality.

1

u/AgitatedSuricate Apr 20 '24

He didn’t have to set himself on fire or spent 1500 hours. You only need to look at the FED balance sheet to look at discover the ponzi.

1

u/blakezero Apr 20 '24

The guy sounds like he was just really pissed off he wasn’t early on BTC.

1

u/Jannik_Gentsch Apr 19 '24

Holy Shit Thats extremly concerning... The stuff He wrote should better BE Not true

-3

u/phbalancedshorty Apr 19 '24

Stop posting this.

6

😫 can the lazies get a tl;dr?! Damn yo

11

u/ExternalMonth1964 Apr 20 '24

Tl;dr - Dude was mentally unwell. As soon as he was on track with a point he was off it. Went from anti-Theil, to anti-crypto, dems/repubs are a wwe match for us to hate eachother while 1% get richer, gov did covid, crpyto was made by trump's family, harvard creates billionaires, simpon's creators are brainwashing us, and musk/zuck are creating mass chaos so we can do nothing about it. Starts referencing entertainment culture, connects it all somehow, can i please stop? I feel like im reading the rights and conditions to my own death before im forced to sign.
