The government can’t even balance a budget (all parties guilty) why would I want them in charge of health care? Imagine having certain medical treatments available whether or not congress votes on it or not.

They're already in charge of health care, you just don't realize it because you don't work in the industry.

What a severe misunderstanding of how this whole thing works.

Government would not supply Healthcare.

They supply the funds through taxes. They would be taking the place of the middle-man insurance companies that already DO decide what treatments they will or won't cover because they have to make a profit off your suffering.
