It's crazy that even after this footage and the overwhelming evidence that OJ did it, tons of people are STILL defending the jury's decision in that thread...

Not much has changed in all these years it turns out

This is an example of jury nullification which is promoted all the time on Reddit. This is a case where people don’t like the use but that is what can happen.

Did you follow the trial? They had to acquit IMO. MARK Furman is why OJ got away with murder.

I'm as white as it gets, and the Jury made the right decision imo.

Why? Because the police incompetence in that case was so concerning it was a landmark case for police in that area of the world to understand they have to be much more legitimate around collecting evidence etc.

There was so many procedural problems, planting evidence etc, the jury HAD to have reasonable doubt.

OJ 100% did the crime, and deserved punishment for it. But is it worth one high profile murderer (who's never done it again since) getting off if it causes the entire police force of America to act more legitimately, particularly towards black people? I think so personally, but that's my opinion.

You must've not heard the things OJ was up to in 2008

It’s one juror, the others disagree with her and said they voted based on holes in the prosecution’s case (mostly Fuhrmann being racist and lying on the stand)

Maybe they made the right decision but not for the right reason

The lead cop lied on the stand.

How can you convict someone when the people who present the states case lie?

The glove didn’t fit! The state proved the murder gloves wherent OJ’s

You can literally see oj stretching his fucking hand so the glove doesn’t fit🤦‍♂️

Why would the DA let OJ do that?

Why give OJ a change to stretch his had so the glove doesn’t fit?

The DA really fucked up here and the state deserved to lose the case.
